PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a reagent for genetic engineering, enabling to increase the amount of an amplification product, improve sensitivity for detecting a gene and directly measure the reaction solution by an electrophoresis method, when the reagent is added to a genetic amplification reaction solution and reacted by including a specific pigment. SOLUTION: This pigment-containing agent contains (A) a genetic amplification efficiency-improving agent for improving the efficiency of a genetic amplification reaction and/or (B) a pigment (orange G, bromophenol blue or the like) not inhibiting the genetic amplification reaction but enabling to provide a amplification reaction solution to a direct electrophoresis by addition to the reaction solution before the reaction. |
