摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for regulating a crystal orientation of a work for improving a working efficiency by previously regulating a rotating direction of the work and the orientation of a horizontal direction and mounting it at a work supporting mechanism of a wire saw, and simplifying a constitution of the saw. SOLUTION: A rotating direction of a work 22 and crystal orientation of a horizontal direction are measured by a bearing measuring unit 76. The work 22 is rotated around an axis in response to a measured value of the orientation of the rotating direction, and the orientation of the rotating direction is regulated. Reference position marks M1, M2 for cutting the work are attached to an outer surface of the work 22. And, an auxiliary plate B is adhered parallel to a central axis of the work. A work mounting plate 53 is mounted on a support base 40. The work 22 is supported on the plate 53. The central axis 22a of the work is transited in a horizontal plane by a bearing regulating mechanism 44 provided on the base to regulate the crystal orientation of the horizontal direction. Thereafter, the base is mounted at the mechanism 21 to support the work.</p>
