<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To always accurately weld piping materials mutually by reducing a slide speed so that the pressing force of a welding surface to a heating element is brought to a prescribed value by a control means when it is detected that the piping materials slide to an abutting preparation position thereof relatively. SOLUTION: Fixed clamps 3, 4 clamp piping materials P1, P2 by hydraulic cylinders and the clamp 4 advances and retreats in the direction of the clamp 3 to stop. Respective positions, that is, an abutting position, a heating position, a cutting feed end, a cutting position and a retreat end are detected by a sensor constituted of the proximity switch fixed to the fixing plate provided to a stand 2 and the permanent magnet of the support plate fixed to the side surface of the clamp 4. A control apparatus controls oil pressure predetermined at every kind and caliber of the piping materials to a predetermined value when it is detected that the clamp 4 reaches the abutting preparation position and adjusts the oil pressure of the cylinder to perform the changeover of the low and high speeds of a slide and the changeover of the low and high pressures of pressing force.</p> |
