PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power unit, hardly affected by the length of a cylinder. SOLUTION: A cam shaft driving mechanism 120 formed with a cam shaft driving pulley 121, a belt 122, a pair of cam shaft pulleys 123, 124 and a tensioner 125 is disposed on the front face of a power unit. A cylinder shaft 126 is disposed in almost horizontal (at an inclination of α = +10 deg. to a ground level) to be laid across the width of a vehicle. Jut this way, the power unit is formed in a lower center of gravity with the length of a cylinder accommodated in the width of the vehicle, resulting in a greater degree of freedom. |
