PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject feed capable of reducing black streaks in muscle of cultured fish and producing fish of high commercial value, by including a specific amount of kojic acid. SOLUTION: This feed contains 0.01-1% of kojic acid. A purified product, a coarsely purified product, kojic acid in a microbial cell of Aspergillus oryza, kojic acid in a culture solution, etc., may be cited as the kojic acid. Kojic acid in an amount of preferably 1-100 mg, more preferably 5-40 mg based on 1 kg of fish weight daily is administered to preferably cultured fish of white meat such as Crysophrys major, Fugu rubripes rubripes, flat fish, etc., 30-100 times before shipment. A method for adding kojic acid together with neomysis and a formula feed to fish meat of Ammodytes personatus, horse mackerel, sardine, mackerel, to give a mixed moist paste and applying the moist paste, administering kojic acid by coiling it with a raw feed, administering dry pellets containing kojic acid, adsorbing kojic acid on dry pellets and administering, etc., may be cited as the administering method. |
