<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet material feeding device excellent in reliability, and capable of stable feeding of sheet materials by preventing peeling and contamination from occurring at the rear end of the sheet materials and an image forming device with simple structure. SOLUTION: A sector gear 8 positioned near the bottom side of the rotating pivot 5 of a resister upper guide 3 is meshed with a pinion gear 9 on the shaft of a one-way damper 10. Also the one-way damper 10 is rotated at no load when it is rotated in the arrow direction of (a), and a load is applied to it due to viscosity resistance when it is rotated in the direction of (b). In addition, register upper guide 3 is rotated in the direction of A without any resistance (load applied only by the spring force of a return spring 6) and, for its rotation in the direction of B, a force against a load by the damper 10 is required.</p> |
