A food wrapper having a stiffened region and an unstiffened region. The stiffened region can include an embossed configuration, a microsphere layer, or a non-woven material or paperboard. The stiffened region has a greater rigidity th an the unstiffened region. The stiffened region can include a plurality of perforations about which the food wrapper can be folded to wrap a sandwich, or the stiffened region can be one of a plurality of stiffened regions that can each be folded about fold li nes to wrap a sandwich.
