<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for thickness control for a rolling stock and a device for practical use therefor by applying a rolling mill capable of highly accurately controlling a thickness of the rolling stock at the outlet of the rolling mill without using a test material even in the case of a change of deformation resistance of the rolling stock during rolling or a change of coefficient of fric tion between the rolling mill and the rolling stock owing to wear of the rolling roll. SOLUTION: An operation part 12 calculates a transfer function Glest (jω) of a rolling process from a coefficient of mill rigidity M given from each of time series data and a setup controlling part 18, an influence factor given to a rolling load by a thickness of the rolling stock on the inlet side of a rolling mill, and an influence factor given to a rolling load by a thickness of the rolling stock on the outlet side of the rolling mill, and gives the Glest (jω) to each of a feed-forward correction part 15 to correct an amount of feed-forward adjustment and a feedback correction part 16 to correct an amount of feedback adjustment.</p> |
