<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate the loading work of a sheet by providing a member for pressing the vicinity of the upper end of a printed sheet on the start of the cutting side of a cutter, pressing the member against the printed sheet substantially in synchronism with start of cutting of the cutter and separating the member from the printed sheet substantially in synchronism with the end of cutting. SOLUTION: When a wire 68 is traveled through a motor 70 in the transverse direction, a cutter 60 fixed with the opposite ends of the wire 68 is moved to the left and right. Upper and lower rotary cutters built in the cutter 60 is then moved toward the sheet 18 from the left side and when the sheet 18 enters the overlapped part of the upper and lower rotary cutters, it is clamped by the pair of rotary cutters turning at high speed and cut off quickly. In synchronism with cutting of the sheet, an electromagnetic solenoid 88 for driving a press member, i.e. a press lever 62, is excited to turn the press lever 62 clockwise. Consequently, the forward end of the press lever 62 presses the sheet 18 from above and the sheet 18 is clamped by the press lever 62 and a guide plate 46.</p> |
