PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a printer wherein a part of a box body can be opened and closed without removing an opening/closing member from the box body and the area of installation can be suppressed. SOLUTION: In a label printer 1 provided with a printer unit provided with a printer head in a box body 2, a label holder and a mount winder and for printing a label drawn out from the label holder, an opening/closing member 18 is freely slidably fitted on one side face 17 of the box body 2 along the outer side face. The opening/closing member 18 is formed into a louver door-like shape consisting of a plurality of belt-like members 20. The belt-like members 20 are integrated in such a way that their longer directions are arranged in the vertical direction of the printer 1 and they are connected with each other in the width direction. Tapered faces are formed on both end parts of the width direction of the belt-like members. The belt-like members form a curved face part 23 being projected toward the outer peripheral direction and connected with self hinges 24 and curved faces. The opening/closing member 18 is freely bendable by the self hinges 24 as folds. |
