PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packaging unit for continuously manufacturing aseptic sealed packages containing injectable food from a tube made of a sheet-type heat-seal packaging material which is fed along a vertical supply path to be filled with the food wherein asepsis of contents can be protected without damaging the package and production speed is high. SOLUTION: The packaging unit includes respective chain conveyers having a plurality of flanges 12 and opposite flanges 13 wherein the flanges 12 and the opposite flanges 13 cooperate with a tube to seal the tube with sealing bands at equal intervals, the conveyer includes a half shell member for controlling a volume of the package, and the half shell member is individually attached to the flanges 12 and the opposite flanges 13 so that operation of coming closer to/farther from the tube is controlled. A guide means 44 has a cam follower 52 attached to the half shell member engaged therewith, thereby preventing the formed package from being interposed between the half shell members. |
