PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air bag for side collision provided at a front with a vent hole, which consists a small number of part items. SOLUTION: A foundation cloth 36 cut approximately in a belt-like shape is folded double through a central fold line 37 and the folded folds are overlapped with each other. By sewing an outer periphery except the fold line 37, an air bag 6 is formed and two vent holes 38 are formed on the fold line 37 of the foundation cloth 36. In comparison with a substance to form an air bag by sewing together a plurality of the foundation cloths, the number of parts is reduced and a sewing work amount is suppressed to a minimum. Besides, since a sewn part is set to a position deviated from the front of the air bag 6, the vent holes 38 are formed in the front of the air bag 6 without interference with the sewn part. |
