The invention relates to a transparent sun protection gel with excellent stability and a high oil or light protection agent content in addition to being transparent. The inventive sun protection gel contains 0.01 and 15 wt. % methylvinyl ether and maleic acid copolymers which are cross linked with decadiene, 0.1 and 30 wt. % cosmetic oil, 0.1 - 30 wt. % organic light protection agent, >1 - 85 wt. % water, 1.1 - 50 wt. % usual cosmetic additives, and 1.1 - 45 wt. % light protection agents and other additives. |
