FIELD: measurement technology. SUBSTANCE: invention is intended for use in devices measuring mass of flow, predominantly heavily pulsating air flow with partial backward stream across suction section of internal combustion engine. Measurement element includes substrate with section for its attachment divided by cut into two protrusions. Cut and first protrusion facing flow have width in direction of flow amounting to 30 per cent as minimum and to 50 per cent as maximum of total width of substrate. Second protrusion carries layer of temperature-sensitive measurement resistor and in specific case can also have layer of heating resistor. EFFECT: high measurement precision. 7 cl, 3 dwg
