ELECTROMAGNETICALLY OPERATED VALVE

In the proposed electro-magnetically operated injection valves with a fuel inlet connection serving as core surrounded by a solenoid, at least one part of the valve is enclosed by a plastic casing. A retaining groove in the fuel inlet connection serves for snapping in a retaining ring for a sealing ring. In the new injection valve, a section which radially defines a ring groove (25) for the sealing ring (45) is also moulded onto the fuel inlet connection (1) with the plastic casing (18). The injection valve has applications in fuel injection systems.
