Envelope printer with thickness compensation for print drum

The envelope printing machine has two rollers (3,14) bringing the envelope to the print drum (6) and the motorized print counter roller (17). One of the delivery rollers (14) and the counter roller (17) are carried on the end of a lever pivoted at its center (11) and articulated at this point, with an adjustable movement stop. When an envelope arrives at the feed roller rotation of the lever causes the counter roller to adjust to the thickness of the approaching envelope.
