ORTHODONTIC RETAINER

FIELD: medicine; stomatology; orthodontics. SUBSTANCE: retainer is made as a set of flat brackets containing base layer for stomatologic composite on one side and recess with ears for fixing the available arc by compression. The latter is performed to ensure displacement of bracket along arc with its turning relative to transversal plane of arc and returning to initial position when masticatory load is removed. Arc serves as a force element to prevent front teeth from displacement. It follows form of teeth row and has supporting areas. EFFECT: improved convenience of retainer installation. 2 dwg
