Electric component casing

The casing comprises connection posts which consist of a substrate material provided with an electrically conductive layer, and which connect the electric component from the lower side to the upper side. Such connection posts (7) are arranged as carriers for conductor paths at suitable, arbitrary positions within or outside a surface area of a substrate (1) which is used by the component. The connection posts are isolated from the substrate.
