Fuel gauge float production from plastic

A hot mass is extruded into an empty space forming the form of the float by the solidified extruded mass. Independent claims are included for the float and its use. The float has the bonded particles (7, 8) and preferred, fuel-resistant outer skin (13). Preferred Features: A mushy plastic mass is extruded to a strand, of which a piece corresponding to the float is cut off, once solidified. The mass is extruded as small drops, which once set, are bonded together in the form of the float. They may be hot-pressed to this form. Particles are bonded to a strand, from which the float is cut. The float is given a fuel-resistant coating.
