Process for treating grey water, especially bath water

The grey water is discharged to a holding tank (1, 2, 3) where it is pump-circulated and impurities are allowed to settle out. Part of the grey water is drawn from the holding tank and conditioned by e.g. a high-frequency magnetic field, and then returned to the holding tank with the remaining grey water. The water is drawn (6) from the holding tank (3) when required. Sludge is discharged through an outlet (5).
