Tyre moulding segment incision lamella

The mould segment (1) includes openings for subsequent insertion of metal lamellae (2), which clip into place. The opening is a slot (3) made into the tread- moulding surface of the segment, which gives into a cavity (4). Independent claims are included for the complete mould formed by the corresponding segments and the corresponding lamella, made especially in sheet steel. This has clip-in tabs (2a), which project out resiliently, at an acute angle. Preferred features: The tab projection is stamped out. Its endface is supported by a surface (4a) defining part of the cavity.
