The invention relates to a calender arrangement with end rollers configured as curl adjustment cylinders with an inner lifting system. One of the end rollers includes at least one stop element (20), which is configured as a hydraulic hydrostatic element, defining apassage gap with the inner wall of the cylinder jacket (14). By feeding a hydraulic medium at a constant flow rate, an equilibrium of forces is achieved, in which the cylinder jacket is positioned. The pressure thus built up serves to indicate the positioning forces. Minor deviations from the set position are allowed.
