The opposite lying side edges of the roll-up sunblind (8) are movable in the direction of movement of the blind in guide rails (15) but are prevented from being withdrawn from the guide rails at right angles to the direction of movement. The spacing of the guide rails is such that the side edges of the blind material tension the blind in the transverse direction. The guide rails have a section which is angled in relation to the plane of the blind, and the side edges of the blind have edge stiffeners which are bent over to engage in the angled guide rail sections.
