A woven tickware is made particularly from staple fibre, e.g.pure cotton fabric, pref. 110 to 140 gram per sq. metre, from yarn count Nm 65 to 75.The woven material is cotton duck, plain weave, equal warp and weft, or warp threads 40 to 50 per cm. and/or weft threads 35 to 45 per cm.Twist is 850 to 950 per metre. The porosity is 8 to 12 litres of air per sq. decimetre per minute. The woven fabric has a high grade of resistance to the passage of hairlike material. This is achieved by removal of size, scouring, stentering and repeated calandering. A bed cover (1) of this fabric may be filled with angora fir and at least 30% by weight of another filling, e.g. silk, mohair, down, wool fibre, alpacca, camelhair, polyester or similar. This may be made up in two parts (2,3) with an airgap between (4) to form one bed cover (1)
