Oral veterinary dosage forms (granules, pellets, powders or tablets) that are moisture-stable and resistant to gastric fluid comprise (a) a core that comprises or is coated with an acid-stable material that is soluble, swellable or "retarding" at neutral or basic pH and (b) an outer coating that is acid-labile or "retarding". Also claimed are aqueous suspensions of such dosage forms.
