Control method for transport equipment of a store

The transport equipment transports items between stores (4-1,4-2) along transport paths (5-1,5-2) on carriers (5c). Before an item can be moved between stores a computer monitors the available storage capacity of the destination store from information fed to it and permits onward transport only if the destination store can accept the item.
