Vehicle braking system control method

摘要

The braking system control method responds to operation of the brake pedal by the vehicle driver and to a signal from an adaptive cruise control for automatic operation of the brakes when a variable velocity threshold is exceeded. The velocity threshold is altered in dependence on the detected distance between the vehicle and an obstacle in front of the vehicle. An Independent claim is included for a device for implementation of the braking control method.
