Wire saw for slicing shaped bodies from a workpiece

The saw consists of webs of saw wire arranged one above the other a distance (h) apart stretched between sets of rollers (1a,1b,2a,2b) rotating in the same or opposite directions. In plan view no wire section lines up in one web with a wire section in the other. One web always performs a vertical cut but the other can be rotated to cut at an angle to the workpiece
