<p>The invention concerns a method for locating a moving object comprising the following steps: acquiring scalar measurements by a set of sensors assembled in a single site and whereof the position is known at each instant; approximating the trajectory of the object with a model; combining the measurements derived from each sensor to obtain spatial gradient measurements representing the vectorial magnetic disturbance of the moving object; estimating a vector of parameters characteristic of the model based on the gradient measurements and on the position of the sensors; determining the position of the object based on the position of the sensors and the vector of parameters.</p> |
