One-piece seal for pipe union

The seal is cylindrical, accommodating at one end a pipe whose external diameter can vary within predetermined limits. At the other end is an annular bead, the seal material at this end being sufficiently elastic for the bead to be unrolled along the outside surface to beyond the opposite end. The pipe end can be accommodated inside an inwards-tapering sleeve portion bearing against the pipe outside surface.
