The arrangement includes a light beam divider (500) which divides an incident light beam having three light beams with different wavelength into three separate light beams with first, second and third wavelengths. The three wavelengths are parallel to each other. At least two first mirrors are provided between which at least a first medium is provided. A three channel modulator (700) modulates the light beams according to an image signal which is supplied by an external light source. The three light beams are combined with a combiner (800) comprising at least two second mirrors which are parallel to each other. A second medium is provided between the two mirrors.
