Projectile and splitter forming charge

摘要

A projectile and splitter forming charge comprises at least two layers (4,5). The layer (5) immediately in contact with the explosive (7) consists of e.g. iron or tantalum. The layer (4) on the target side consists of a splitter forming material, e.g. a brittle heavy or hard metal. The layers pref. consist of tungsten or a sintered tungsten alloy.
