<p>The invention concerns a method for making a motor vehicle sliding roof characterised in that it consists in producing a frame (3) in composite plastic material comprising at least a chamber (6, 36) whereof the opening (6a, 36a) faces outwards, in installing in said chamber fittings (13-15, 18, 38) for signalling or security and/or groups (16, 37, 39) for powering said fittings and in mounting on said frame a finish panel (30, 50) for closing said chamber opening. Said sliding roof produced by this method is strong and economical.</p> |
