A ski damper has a mounting (L) which gives a moving bond between the ski point (S) and the remainder (R) of the ski. The damper (D) is a shock absorber with an adjustable spring, with a holder (B) where the damper (D) is fitted at the top. The force transfer unit (A) is secured to the ski point (S) and is linked to the shock absorber (D) from below. The beating plate (P) takes up impact forces at the ski point.
