The function module includes at least an additional function unit (24) which can be inserted in a housing in the same plane as other function units, such as base function unit (2) and satellite function unit (3). The additional function unit can be connected with an allocated external electrical apparatus (29) via a flexible electrical line. The line is assigned to a plate shaped distribution apparatus.
