Process for rendering grey water fit for re-use

The process involves discharging the grey water to a holding tank which has a force feed to an incorporated germicide section which allows water to travel in both directions. In a process and assembly to render grey water fit for further use, the water is discharged to a holding tank where it is held allowing particles to settle out. The holding tank incorporates a force-feed to an incorporated germicide section, through which the water passes at least twice. The germicide unit is so constructed that on first arrival in the holding tank, the water passes through the germicide section in a first direction. When water is drawn from the holding tank, the water first passes through the germicide section in the reverse direction.
