摘要 <p>A method makes it possible to automatically set an optimum tool-based working condition using CAD data of a workpiece and an off-line teaching system. The method comprises steps S1 to S7 of designating a welding point on CAD data of a workpiece and determining the line segment of the welding direction; step S8 of retrieving data on one or more parts which will be affected by the welding; step S9 of obtaining a combination of attribute codes (eg materials and thickness) necessary for the welding concerning the retrieved one or more part codes; a step S10 of deciding workpiece-based working condition (eg welding current, current duration, and applied pressure) on the basis of the obtained combination of attributes; step S12 of judging whether or not the decided workpiece-based working conditions are included in specified specifications of a tool; and step S13 of retrieving a tool-based working condition suitable for the workpiece based working condition from the specifications of the tool if the workpiece-based working condition is included in the specifications of the tool, so that teaching data is reflected thereby.</p>
