PURPOSE:To obtain a solid-state laser simple in structure by a method wherein a nonreflective film to semiconductor laser rays and a totally reflective film to slid-state laser rays are provided to a hemispherical surface, a solid-state laser medium whose opposed hemispherical surfaces are provided with a totally reflective film to the semiconductor laser rays and a semi-transmitting film to the solid-state laser rays, and a light condensing section whose focal point is located at the center of the solid-state laser medium are provided. CONSTITUTION:The light of an exciting light source 1 is corrected in divergent angle through a light condensing section 2 and focused on the center of a spherical slid-state laser medium 3 through a lens whose focal distance is (R+d). A nonreflective film (coating) 4 is provided to the hemispherical surface of the medium 3 on a light induction side, a light is reflected and condensed by a total reflection film 6 provided to the opposed spherical surface of the medium 3. A film 5 serves as a total reflection mirror and a film 7 serves as a semi- transmission mirror, and the hemispherical surfaces constitute a laser resonator to start a solid-state laser oscillating. The fine adjustment of a resonator can be dispensed with, so that a device can be formed simple in structure. |
