PURPOSE:To provide a protection device for a diaphragm pump capable of minimizing the replacement and damage of parts and locating faults immediately. CONSTITUTION:A thermal protector 2 is provided on a coil 1, and a relay means 3 for holding the condition of the thermal protector 2, if any fault is produced, is provided. Since the relay means 3 is activated as well as the thermal protector 2 if any fault is produced, an electric circuit can be held at cut-off condition after the fault is produced and, by turning on the power again after turning it off once, a diaphragm pump 8 can be started. Also a warning means 4 is provided in parallel with the relay means 3, and the warning means 4 is activated if any fault is produced and the fault can be notified audibly, visually, etc. |
