PROCESS FOR PRODUCING OBJECT BASED ON PARAFFIN, AROMATIC SUBSTANCE CONCENTRATE AND THE PARAFFIN BASED OBJECT

Preparation of perfume-containing paraffin-based articles, especially candles, comprises dissolving the perfume in an ester (especially an organic ester, e.g. triglyceride)-containing solvent and adding the solution to (or dissolving it in) the paraffin. Also claimed are: (i) perfume concentrates comprising an ester as above containing the perfume (especially an ether oil) in an amount of 1/3-2/3 of the total wt.; and (ii) high perfume-content paraffin-based articles containing a waxy material together with an ester or ester/wax acid mixture.
