Uses a simple stepped loop system operated by a button (3) which is accessible to the driver during travel. The system establishes a correspondence with the headlamp adjustment and discrete values of vehicle loading, which is realized by actuators driven by an electronic processing circuit linked to the adjusting system. The amount of adjustment specified by the user via the adjusting system is transmitted to by means of an electronic circuit (10) to a graphical display system (5) which gives instantaneous visual indication of the level of adjustment. The adjuster carries out repetitive actions, operating in a graduated loop sequence which is designed to provide an adjustment level (13) corresponding to vehicle loading over a range of variable loads. The device has one or two (3a,3b) push buttons, which operate in a simple single or double inverse loop, which cooperate with a counting circuit which counts the number of presses effected by the user on the button or buttons. |
