PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily use toilet, for example, by permitting a wheelchair to be used as walk aiding equipment, by which movement is easily executed. SOLUTION: Left and right wheel frames 1 and 2 are connected and integrated in the upper part of a seat plate 3 so as to form a chair frame 4. The chair frame 4 is provided with an elevating/lowering member 5 and an elevating/ lowering or energizing device 6 for the elevating/lowering member. Armrests 7 and 8 are arranged in the upper left and right of the seat plate 3 and elevated/ lowered in accordance with the elevating/lowerint member 5. The seat plate 3 is moved upwards to a position at the back of a user so as to be folding possible by a link or a hinge mechanism and this folding mechanism is linked with the elevating/lowering member 5. The folding mechanism of the elevating/ lowering member 5 and the seat plate 3 is freely engagement/detachment possible in order to permit only the armrests 7 and 8 to be elevated/lowered in a state where the seat plate 3 is folded. When the energizing device 6 is operated, the user can stand-up by permitting weight to be supported by the armrests 7 and 8 and the seat plate 3 is folded at the back side of the user. |
