PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an antireflection substrate having superior antireflection property and antistatic property and capable of preventing scuffing and peeling by the presence of an antistatic layer by successively forming an antistatic layer having a higher refractive index than a transparent substrate and a low refractive index layer of a non-crystalline fluorine-contg. polymer on the surface of the transparent substrate. SOLUTION: This antireflection substrate has an antistatic layer on the transparent substrate and a low refractive index layer on the antistatic layer. The antistatic layer is an electrically conductive transparent layer having a higher refractive index than the transparent substrate. The antistatic layer is preferably a layer of an electrically conductive metal oxide whose specific resistance is preferably 1×10<07> -1×13<3> Ω.m. The refractive index difference between the transparent substrate and the antistatic layer is preferably 0.05-0.4. The low refractive index layer is a layer of a non-crystalline fluorine-contg. polymer. This polymer may be any fluorine-contg. polymer excellent in transparency because the scattering of light due to crystals is not substantially caused. A polymer having a fluorine-contg. alicyclic structure is preferably adopted. |
