PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the efficiency of document preparation in datebase design using a terminology dictionary table and productivity at the time of constructing the terminology dictionary table. SOLUTION: The attributes and numbers of digits of terms having the same concept of respective database constitution items in an information processing system are uniquely managed by a terminology dictionary constitution table 102. A terminology dictionary table 101 manages the attributes and numbers of digits of database constitution items other than items managed by the table 102 and the meaning or the like of terms. As to terms whose attributes and number of digits are integrally managed in the table 102, the table 101 stores only link information to constitution information managed by the table 102 without managing the attributes and number of digits of the database constitution items, and the attributes and numbres of digits of the data constitution items in the table 102 are corrected, the attributes and number of digits of the database constitution items managed by the table 101 are simultaneously changed. |
