PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system for simply generating a foreground image entering a subject without requiring a physically blue wall or the like. SOLUTION: A photographed picture supplying means 110 in the foreground image generating device can simultaneously photograph a subject 10 in two states, i.e., in a backlight state and a non-backlight state. First and second cameras 30, 32 are orthogonally arranged through a half mirror 40 so that respective optical axes are coincide with each other. An infrared translucent filter 34 is arranged on the optical axis of the 1st camera 30. An infrared cut filter 36 is arranged on the optical axis of the 2nd camera 32. An infrared ray projector 20 is arranged in order to project infrared rays of specific wavelength to the subject 10. A 2nd image including a background and the subject 10 and a 1st image to be a mask (key) image for extracting the subject 10 are outputted from the means 110. A foreground image generating means generates a foreground image to be an image obtained by extracting the subject 10 from the background from the 1st and 2nd images. |
