PURPOSE:To provide the structure of a drain plug whereby the drain plug can be easily inserted into a drain pipe and a highly sealable property can be obtained. CONSTITUTION:A drain plug consists of a base part 1 and a cylindrical insertion part 2 with a bottom, which part extends from the base part 1, has ringed projections 20 on the periphery thereof, has a central hole 21 opening at the top end thereof and extending in the axial direction thereof, and is inserted into a drain hole. Flexible grooves 22 extending in the axial direction are formed on the inner periphery of the central hole 21 and the insertion part 2 is so formed that its diameter enables shrinkage in the direction in which the flexible grooves 22 are narrowed by their elastic deformation. |
