PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent connection with a router device owing to erroneous setting change when the setting of the router device in a remote place through a network is changed. SOLUTION: The manager of a router changes the content of the definition information file of the router, which is stored in a computer, into a desired content (S6-1). Continuity by a routing checker is checked on the changed definition information file (S6-2). The routing checker checks whether the continuity of the computer and the router device is maintained or not (S6-3). When continuity is injured, the manager is urged to change the definition information file of the router. When continuity is judged to be maintained, the definition information file changed in S6-4 is transmitted to the router device and setting after the change is reflected on the router device by the re-booting of the router (S6-5).
