PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a powdered tea strainer through which powdered tea can be strained with a natural motion and without generating static electricity. SOLUTION: This tea strainer consists of a container main body 1 which is a bottomed cylinder, a strainer net member 2 which is detachably attached inside the container at the upper position, and a bamboo paddle 4 whose bottom end is in the shape of a half circular arc. The strainer net member 2 consists of a wire net 2a hanging down which is a hollow elliptic hemisphere whose long diameter is in the horizontal direction and an engaging ring 2b fixed at the upper rim of the wire net 2a. The diameter of the circular arc of the bamboo paddle 4 is smaller than either the vertical diameter or the horizontal diameter of the wire net 2a of the strainer net member 2. |
