PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the manufacturing method of a lithium secondary battery capable of enhancing discharge capacity, the initial charge/discharge efficiency, and prolonging the cycle life. SOLUTION: In a manufacturing method of a lithium secondary battery having a positive electrode, a negative electrode containing a carbonaceous material capable of absorbing/releasing lithium ions, and a nonaqueous electrolyte, the carbonaceous material is obtained by graphitizing a carbon precursor containing 1-50 wt.% at least one kind selected from among polymers having at least one of an amide group and a nitrile group and thermosetting resin, and mesophase pitch obtained through heating at 200-500 deg.C. |
