PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the number of members discarded when the polishing member of a rotary polishing tool wears out, by facilitating the replacement of only the polishing member having worn out with a new one, designing the polishing member to be attached to various types of grinder rotary shaft, and designing the rotary shaft to accept various types of polishing member. SOLUTION: A rotary polishing tool 50 comprises a central member 5 and a polishing member 6 formed individually, which are freely attached to or detached from each other through rotational engagement of projected lines 6d on the polishing member 6 with grooves 5f in the central member 5. The central member 5 is fixed to the rotary shaft 71 of a grinder 70 by means of a fixing screw 73. This arrangement allows the removal of the polishing member 6 with the central member 5 still fixed to the shaft 71, leading to easier replacement of the polishing member 6 having worn out, only which is to be discarded, with a new one, and reuse of the central member 5 as it is. |
